There was a time when caste system prevailed and even now the society beholds the impact of its profound pain and anguish. While it was the so called inferior caste that endured the wrath and insult of the superior castes in the past, it is now their turn to endorse in the privileges offered by the government as a compensation for the dark times and despair. They now demand the benefits of societal advantages to stay in the loop by silencing dissent through intimidation. The only aim is to assert the ownership of their rights. People with logical brain might choose to disagree to this style of plunder.
If you view it at this angle, there is no variation. There is a commonality in human behaviour. People are always addicted to the intoxication of power, no matter the religion, creed, colour or gender. Once you start providing freebies as incentive or from a sense of pity, it later morphs as an obligation and the beneficiary will vanquish the current system.
Male chauvinism closely resembles to that. There was a time when men were reflected upon as a means to have babies because the closeness of kinship never piqued their interest but they were respected in accordance with the number of wars they held, the fights they won, the manhood they possessed etc.. But when a time came when they had no more wars to fight, they had no other option other than to squat back at their homes with no good to do. They still had to preserve the admiration they have garnered as warriors. The sole remaining choice to preserve their valour was to oppress the dominant feminity prevalent till then. They started displaying their virulence prominently by despotism.
If you ponder deeply, everything is identical and connected to the food chain. The predators live by eating those meager to them in the chain and once the predators are dead, they are food to the lowest of the chain. All these are identical with eachother and throw light on the survival of the fittest theory. The rationale is straightforward. We evolve and refuse to become stagnant with the atrocities of the past and that is the only way to progress.
